Mission Science Workshop
(MSW) wants to thank the thousands of people who reached out to San Francisco officials to let them know that they find their Community Science Workshops to be essential. San Francisco Mayor London Breed recently restored $11 million beyond the grants the Department of Children, Youth and Their Families issued this year. Breed鈥檚 office said the funding would ensure that MSW, an after-school science education program that was facing devastating cuts, has the funding it needs to continue its normal operations. MSW says this support will fund their three community science workshops that serve 16,000 public school students, their teachers, and families every year.
